Install Your Facebook Profile And Page Badge On your Blog Or Website

You can display your Facebook profile and page information right on your website, such as photos, email and so on, for your readers to see and to easily access your Facebook page.
On this post you will be seeing a simple way to create this for your personal Facebook profile or fan page, how to install it directly to blogger and how to get the code as well to embed it on any other website.

To start creating this you need to go to Facebook.com and log in with your account detail.
From your account home page, click on the drop down at the top right hand corner of the page on the tab and go to your profile timeline.

click on the drop down button immediately after your profile activity button at the top of the timeline and click on the "Add a badge to your website" option to take you to the profile badge  page.

On the page you will be displayed with an already created badge containing little information about you, to reedit the badge, all you need to do is to scroll to the right hand side of the page click either "create a new badge" or "edit this badge".
When you are on the badge creator page, first of all choose the the type of badge you want to create from the "Profile badges" at the left hand side of the page and start the badge creation.

1. Choose Profile Badges to show some information about your self on the badge
2. choose Like Badges to display some page you have liked on Facebook
3.  choose Photo Badges to display some of your existing images on Facebook
4. Choose Page Badge to create a badge for your already created Facebook fan pages.

After you might have choose the type of badge you want, just mark any  information you want to display public and it will be added to the badge.
You can also choose the type of layout you want to use for the badge, it could be vertical, horizontal and 2 column.
After all the set up just click on the save button.

Install to Blogger

When you are out from the badge creator page, now your profile will be displaying on the page how is going to appear to the public, Go to blogger.com and log in, go back to the badge page and click on the blogger button on the page to take you to a page where you need to start the widget installation. On the page choose the blog you want to add the widget to from the drop down arrow  that is if you have more than one blog, add your desirable title in the title box and  click on the add widget to install this to blogger directly.

Get The Script Instead

But if you need the code or script, all you need to do when you are out of the badge creator page is to click on the "other" button instead of blogger, right bellow the button you will find the badge script copy it and go to your site then place it in any location you do like to see it.
