Receive Your Mail Notification from Gmail Via SMS On Your Mobile Phone

If you have an account with Google that is Gmail account, you can now receive a free notification when ever you are being sent a mail into your account inbox. To start receiving it you need to first of all activate it,  this post will describe to you on how you can activate it for your Gmail account.
 First of all go to Google account settings on your browser when you are logged in to Google using your account details, on the account settings page located the "Phone And Settings" setup option and click on the "open sms settings"  link attached to the phone setup option, this will load and lead you to a page where you need to activate this on your mobile line.

Click on the "Add Phone Number" button on blue background in this next page.

Immediately there will be a pop up dialog box where you need to type in the phone number you want to be notify with, on the space provided for your mobile phone number with your country code attached to it at the front part of the text box, type in your phone number and click on the "send code" on blue background as well.

The last step here is the verification aspect, After the above step, you will be sent a message containing your verification code open the message and type in the code into the verify form and click on verify button.

If the verification was successful you will then start receiving email notification on your mobile line when ever a mail is being sent to your google mail account.
